
According to the data of the first quarter of 2023, 4,347 tons of juice worth $5.153 million were exported from Georgia in the period of January-March.
The export value of products is 77% higher than the data of the first quarter of 2022, and the volume has also increased by 77%.
Russia continues to be the leader among export markets, where natural juice worth $2.130 million was exported in the period of January-March. According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), exports to Russia have increased by 209% compared to the data of the first quarter of 2022.
As the data of the first quarter show, the positions in the top five export markets are distributed as follows:
Russia - $2,130,070 - 1,956 tons
Germany - $987,340 - 915 tons
The USA - $774,890 - 586 tons
Japan - $429,360 - 242 tons
Australia - $263,510 - 251 tons.
As for the data of 2022, last year 13,252 tons of natural juice worth $15.539 million were exported from Georgia.
According to the GEOSTAT data, during the last year the export value of products was almost 30% higher than in 2021, and the volume increased by 38%.
Even then, Russia was leading among exporting countries. In 2022, natural juice worth $3.566 million was exported to Russia.
The second largest export market was Germany, where natural juices worth $3.547 million were exported last year.

Libya - $1,050,040 - 1,292 tons
