
Export of Georgian grapes is at a record level. In 2022, 1,301 tons of grapes worth of $1,096 million were exported from the country. This is almost 60% more compared to the same period of the previous year. In 2021, 947 tons of grapes were exported abroad, with a total value of $682.6 thousand.
According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), Georgia's top trading partner country by exports this year has been Russia. In particular, out of 1,301 tons of grapes were exported this year, 1,289 tons (or about 99%) were sold to Russia. Georgia sold 10.6 tons of grapes to Armenia, and only one ton to Belarus.
