
The export of ferroalloys from Georgia decreased by 64%. According to the Georgian Producers Association of Ferroalloys, the industry is in a severe crisis and this difficult situation has been going on for a year and a half.
"We see a deep crisis in the industry and the situation is getting worse. The perspective is not visible and the statistics show a decrease in exports, when will all this end, unfortunately there is no answer to this. The perspective is rather vague.
The vast majority of enterprises are still closed. Out of twenty companies, only three are working at this stage. There is one small company, which, according to my information, has temporarily continued its work," - said Nugzar Kevlishvili, head of the Georgian Producers Association of Ferroalloys.
