According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, the President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Tea Tsulukiani, the festival founder, artist Karaman Kutateladze, the curator of the exhibition, Julia Marchand (Associate Curator of the Van Gogh Museum Foundation), the authors of the installations presented at the exhibition, young artists, Juliet Georges and Rodriguez de Ferlus, as well as representatives of the cultural sphere attended the event, which was held within the festival supported by the Ministry of Culture.
The Culture Minister of Georgia, Tea Tsulukiani, thanked the President of Georgia for “reopening the door of her residence to contemporary art”. The Minister noted that the Ministry of Culture has traditionally been a supporter of "Fest I Nova" and is actively working with its founder, artist Karaman Kutateladze, to expand the festival next year. According to Tea Tsulukiani, the Ministry is also working on determining the legal status of Art-Villa "Garikula" and its development, as the festival founded by Karaman Kutateladze originates from “Garikula”.
To be informed, "Fest I Nova" is implemented within the framework of the priority "Support to the Development of Fine and Contemporary Art" defined by the Culture Promotion Program of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia.
