As the Ministry reports, the event is dedicated to the memory of Merab Berdzenishvili. The forum will open at 16:00 am on October 15 and will touch upon the problems related to the field and determine the actions needed for the future development of the sculpture.
There will be a scientific discussion about the history of Georgian sculpture and current processes. The presentation of the documents prepared within the project will be held. Both theorists and artists will take part in the discussion.
The project aims to promote modern Georgian sculpture and help artists working in the field in the conditions of the pandemic. The project partner is Giorgi Chubinashvili National Research Centre for History of Georgian Art and Monument Protection.
