Former President of Georgia, Salome Zourabichvili, emphasized the importance of creating a resistance platform that includes participation from the pro-European political spectrum.

Speaking at the ongoing rally on Rustaveli Avenue, Zourabichvili stressed that, in addition to street protests, a strong political platform is necessary to achieve the movement's goals.

She called on members of the platform to set aside political incompatibilities and work together for the greater cause. “This platform is open to all pro-European parties and groups willing to put aside political differences and completely support the protest’s two primary goals: fresh, fair elections and the release of prisoners of conscience,” Zourabichvili stated.

She outlined the platform’s commitment to coordinating political positions to effectively expose and challenge the current regime. "To achieve these goals, the resistance platform agrees to coordinate political positions to confront the regime and its actions in a unified and impactful manner. We must resist the regime’s attempts to undermine Georgia’s development and its European future," she concluded.
