The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said he had an optimistic expectation that everything will proceed positively in the relations between Georgia and the United States based on the President-elect Donald Trump’s postures.
Kobakhidze emphasised Trump’s election would have a markedly positive impact on Georgia, adding it was highly likely peace will soon be established in our [eastern European] region, starting next year, which will reduce the [international] pressure on the country.
The Prime Minister also claimed an alleged pressure on the country and his Government would be lifted with the end of the ongoing war in Ukraine, adding the relations between Georgia and the US will be rebooted.
