According to the Foreign Ministry, the Covid certificate issued by Georgia had been recognized by the European Union and is equal to the certificates issued by the relevant EU regulation, which aims to promote the free movement of people within the EU. The decision of the European Commission is valid as soon as it is published and it also concludes that Georgia is joining the EU digital Covid-certification system.
