
The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili told the journalists in Davos that all European states were interested in deepening economic and trade relations with China, noting Georgia should think about its national interests by strengthening ties with China.
Gharibashvili highlighted a very successful relationship with China, including establishing a strategic partnership with the country in July, stressing the rapid growth of the Chinese economy would have a spillover effect on other regions and the world economy as a whole.
The Head of the Government emphasized the need for rapid development in the country to overcome the difficulties, including poverty and unemployment, and added that attracting direct foreign investments was important for Georgia.
