EU set to receive membership bids from Georgia and Moldova

"EU is about to receive membership applications from Georgia and Moldova," - an EU official said on Thursday, reports Reuters.
According to Reuters, the official said that the applications were due imminently.
Irakli Kobakhidze, the chairman of the Georgian Dream, said yesterday that Georgia was preparing an application for EU candidate status, which will be officially submitted to the EU structures on March 3.
