“EU Commitment to Peace and Security in Georgia: Not just words,” the EU Delegation in Georgia wrote on Facebook.
According to the EU delegation, the EU Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia has been ensuring safety and stability along the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) since 2008 by carrying out over 90 thousand patrols.
“Since 2008, the EU Monitoring Mission (EUMM) has carried out 90,000+ patrols, ensuring safety and stability along Administrative Boundary Lines.
With 220 monitors from EU member states this mission is a tangible demonstration of the EU’s long-term commitment to Georgia’s territorial integrity,” the EU in Georgia said.
