
The European Union and the United Nations have summarized the consequences of the five-year program "EU Innovative Action for Private Sector Competitiveness in Georgia" worth 5.1 million euros.
The initiative was implemented in 2019-2023. With the support of the European Union and the United Nations, more than 1,500 entrepreneurs and farmers have been involved in various training and coaching programs that have improved their entrepreneurial skills and increased their prospects for success in international markets.
The private sector promotion program was implemented with the financial support of the European Union, in close cooperation with the Georgian government and the private sector. Four UN agencies were involved in its implementation: Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The event summarizing the results of the initiative was attended by the representatives of the Georgian government, private sector and international organizations.
