
In order to promote the export-oriented small and medium business export potential, the Enterprise Georgia Agency launches an export stimulation program.
The program implies technical assistance of exporter companies, in particular, to eliminate export-hindering factors in beneficiary companies and introduce export stimulating mechanisms, which will facilitate the diversification of export markets, products and services, identify sectors and products of high export potential and encourage international sales.
The technical assistance component will include the following directions: product licensing/certification; branding/product packaging; stimulating the international sales/entering the international trade network.
The program includes up to 10 target sectors, including food and drinking products (except for wine), clothes, leather and leather products, shoes, toys, finished food production for domestic animals, veterinary products, furniture manufacturing, jewelery and production of the related merchandise, packaging materials.
The conditions of co-financing of the Agency are determined as follows: licensing and certification - no more than 10,000 euros, branding/products packaging - not more than 20 000 GEL, entering the international network - no more than 10,000 euros.
The export stimulation program will be implemented throughout the country. In addition, the program will be carried out in Imereti, Kakheti, Guria, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti as part of the Integrated Pilot Regions Development Program.
