
Within the framework of the conference dedicated to the World Tourism Day in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Director of the Enterprise Georgia Agency, Mikheil Khidureli, introduced the investment attractiveness of Georgia and the opportunities for foreign investors to the Ministers of various countries, including the Minister of Investments of Saudi Arabia, Khalid A. Al-Falih, large Arab companies and potential investors.
The Saudi Ministry of Investment manages the country's largest financial portfolio. The meeting was organized by the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization, Zurab Pololikashvili, who plays an important role in promoting the investment and tourism potential of Georgia.
The World Tourism Day event was held in Riyadh under the auspices of the UN World Tourism Organization. The Georgian delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, attended the event.
During the meetings held within the conference, it was noted that Georgia is a country with one of the fastest growing economies in the region and the investment incentives available there encourage investors to successfully carry out their activities in Georgia.
Meetings were held with large Arab companies, including energy and real estate companies, who expressed considerable interest towards Georgia.
Simultaneously, the positive dynamics of trade and economic cooperation between Georgia and Saudi Arabia was emphasized in the recent period.
As per the Director of the Enterprise Georgia Agency, Mikheil Khidureli, the Agency is ready to continue close communication with Arab companies in order to attract investments from them to Georgia and increase the existing ones.
