Agency Director Mikheil Khidureli promoted Georgia’s investment potential in meetings with companies at the event with potential investors in energy, agriculture, production, hotels and real estate.  

“With Georgia's stand at the largest investment exhibition of the United Arab Emirates, we once again emphasized the advantages that the country has”, he said.

“The benefits of investing in Georgia include] the ease of doing business, low taxes, low bureaucracy, more flexibility and, most importantly, increased role of the country in logistics”, Khidureli said in reference to the increased interest in logistics routes between Central Asia and Europe that bypass Russia, in the wake of its war in Ukraine.

The Enterprise Georgia Director added his body was actively working to further develop investment relations with the United Arab Emirates, and noted talks with Emirati partners would continue following the newly announced deal.
