The largest volume of electricity is transited from Azerbaijan to Turkey. Turkey received 2.23 billion kWh of electricity from Azerbaijan via Georgia, which is almost 87% of the transit. It should be noted that last year the total transit volume was 3.16 billion kWh.
Georgia receives additional revenue from transit. Among them, according to the 2022 report of the Georgian State Electrosystem, last year the company received 22.3 million GEL revenue from the transit.
