Eight Georgian startups participated in an international bootcamp held in Madrid, which culminated in a demo day hosted by the Google for Startups campus, as reported by the Impact Hub Tbilisi startup accelerator on Wednesday. The founders had the opportunity to present their products to representatives from the European startup ecosystem and other invited guests.
Over three days, the participants attended training sessions led by local experts and mentors, gaining valuable insights into Madrid's entrepreneurial ecosystem while sharing experiences from the international startup community.
Keti Ebanoidze, Co-founder of Impact Hub Tbilisi, described the bootcamp as "a success." She emphasized that the training sessions provided essential advice from international mentors, helped participants establish connections with key figures in the Spanish startup ecosystem, and taught them how to effectively pitch their startups to a global audience. "We believe the experiences gained by the teams in our accelerator, Google for Startups, will be invaluable for their future success," she said.
The participating startups included:
- Aloha: A mobile application designed to enhance customer loyalty in the HoReCa sector.
- Altera: Software tailored for small and medium-sized businesses that analyzes financial data to identify tax compliance risks and suggests corrective measures.
- Hiera: A project management platform aimed at improving efficiency for interior designers.
- Klics: A service helping medium and large e-commerce and retail businesses increase conversion rates by 30% through gamified marketing campaigns and a conversion prediction system.
