Egg import into Georgia is at a record level. According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in 2022, 36,550 million units (5,834 million USD) of products were imported into Georgia, compared to 17,139 million units (1,218 million USD) in the previous year.
In addition, it should be noted that 89.5% of the eggs were imported into Georgia from Turkey in 2022.
