The export volume of hatching eggs from Georgia is at a record level. In January-July 2024, 8.202 million eggs worth $3.128 million were exported from the country. This is 65.2% more compared to last year, and 412.8% more compared to 2014 (the data mentioned on the external trade portal of the National Statistics Office of Georgia can be found from this year).

More specifically, in January-July 2014, 1.753 million units of hatching eggs worth $610.04 thousand were exported from Georgia, and 5.286 million units worth $1.893 million - in seven months of 2023.

As for the exporting countries, this year, as in 2023, the largest amount of local egg exports was made in Azerbaijan - 6,054,420 units worth $2.240 million followed by Armenia - with 2,147,640 units worth $888.3 thousand.
