According to the Ministry of Education, Mikheil Chkhenkeli took the students to the classrooms and introduced them to the new friends.

Mikheil Chkhenkeli, together with the school principal, held a meeting with the parents of the students, personally got acquainted with the needs of the children and, along with the school administration, discussed the details of providing an appropriate educational environment for them.

The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia provides intensive and simplified enrollment of the Ukrainian children in public and private schools. According to the current data, in Tbilisi and the regions, parents of 110 students of different ages have expressed their desire to enroll in schools, 58 of them have already been enrolled in, while 52 will be registered in the shortest possible time.

In addition, it is known that the Ukrainian children are being provided with psychosocial support by psychologists from the Resource Officer Service. It is important to note that as soon as this information was disseminated, dozens of interested people applied to the Psycho-Social Service Center of the Resource Officer Service.

Under the decision of the Government of Georgia, schoolchildren who, as a result of the hostilities in Ukraine, are unable to continue their general education in Ukrainian schools and express a desire to continue their studies in Georgia, will be enrolled in schools in a simplified manner. Those wishing to continue their studies in Georgia should apply to the desired school.
