The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) today published information clarifying that the bank has reduced its stake in TBC PLC, the parent company of TBC Bank by 1.5 percentage points, and it currently owns a 3.5% stake in the bank. The total number of the shares sold is 850,000.
The EBRD acquired the shares of TBC Bank in 2009, within the framework of the financing program. TBC PLC shares were listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2014, and since 2016 it has been traded in the premium segment of the exchange.
In the past week, TBC PLC's share price has increased by 0.46%, one share of the bank is worth 21.80 pounds sterling. The company's market capitalization reached £1.2 billion as a result of this increase. In the last three months, the price of TBC shares has increased by 41%, and in one month, the growth rate is reaching 22%.
