“In January 2022, Georgia received 114,022,899 USD from international travel, which means a recovery of 69.3% of the 2019 figure,” - the National Tourism Administration of Georgia reports.

Earnings from international travel increased by $ 103,663,879 (+ 1.007%) compared to January 2021.

According to the National Tourism Administration, in 2022, a positive trend will be maintained in terms of visitors. In January 2022, 199,393 international travelers visited Georgia, which is a 38% recovery compared to the 2019 data. Compared to 2021, the number of international visits increased by 471%. In January 2022, the number of international tourist visits amounted to 163,615. The recovery is 53% compared to the 2019 data, while the increase compared to 2021 is + 456%.
