The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, shared a post on social media regarding his meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Georgia, Zhou Qian.
As Kobakhidze highlighted, the meeting covered various topics, particularly the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
"I had the honor of meeting Zhou Qian, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Georgia. During the meeting, I once again expressed my condolences to the ambassador for the devastating earthquake in China, which resulted in numerous casualties, and extended my wishes for a swift recovery to the injured. The discussion also focused on the cooperation outlined in the strategic partnership agreement between Georgia and China, as well as the positive trends in trade and economic relations. It was emphasized that the free trade agreement, visa-free travel, and people-to-people exchanges offer significant opportunities for further strengthening bilateral ties. We reaffirmed our commitment to enhancing result-oriented cooperation," wrote Irakli Kobakhidze.
