Key Highlights:

• Tourist-type visits (longer or overnight stays) averaged 692,500 per month, marking a 4.2% decrease from the previous year.

• Most visitors (36.6%) were aged 31–50, and women accounted for 57.5% of the total.

  • Tbilisi: 36.0%

  • Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi & Kvemo Svaneti: 15.9%

  • Adjara AR: 9.5%

• Main purpose of travel: Visiting friends or relatives (51.8% of visits).

• Top destinations:

  • Imereti: Average 385,800 visits per month

  • Tbilisi: Average 363,200 visits per month

Spending Trends:

• Monthly tourism spending averaged 280.6 million GEL, up 6.2% year-on-year.

• Average cost per visit increased by 7.4%, reaching 166.9 GEL.
