The delegation of the Union of Georgian Airports continues meetings in Morocco within the aviation forum CONNECT 2023.
Irakli Karkashadze, Director of the Union of Georgian Airports discussed the details of launching the air traffic between Poznan and Kutaisi from June at the meeting with the Poznań Airport management.
"We discussed the preparatory work before the operation with the Poznań Airport management. This fact is particularly gratifying for us, considering that Kutaisi and Poznań are friendly cities, and Kutaisi regularly participates in international tourist exhibitions, which are held in Poznań every year. Therefore, another additional destination in Poland will create new tourist flows from this country to Georgia, which is very important for us, - said Irakli Karkashadze. 
Starting from June, the fastest growing Hungarian low-cost airline in Europe, WIZZ AIR, will return the third aircraft based at the Kutaisi International Airport and start direct regular flights to Poznań, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Madrid and Brussels.
