The Minister of Finance and Economy of Adjara, Jaba Putkaradze, held a meeting with the head of the airline's destinations department, Andrey Biber. At the meeting, they discussed increasing the frequency of flights and deepening further cooperation. 
Jaba Putkaradze introduced the increasing dynamics of tourism recovery, statistics of visitor growth and planned projects in the sector to the SCAT representative.
The meeting was attended by Misha Koplatadze, the deputy head of the Tourism Department of Adjara, and representatives of the highest-rated media of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Minister answered the journalists' questions. Articles about Adjara will be posted on the online platforms of Kazakhstan.
In 2022, according to the data of the administrative borders of Adjara, the number of international visitors has increased by 82% (1,330,861 visits, with a 178% increase) compared to 2019, compared to the same figure in 2021.
In December only, the number of international visitors only according to the data of the administrative borders of Adjara (airport, port) have increased by 124% (209,569) compared to 2019. The increase compared to the similar indicator of 2021 is 460%.
