The meeting was also attended by the First Deputy Head of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, Mariam Koriauli.

Priority areas of cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan between the tourism and civil aviation sectors were discussed at the meeting. The focus was on the challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic that have affected the circumstance of these industries.

As mentioned, in order to attract and bring more travelers from the target countries to the South Caucasus region, it is important that the countries of the region make joint efforts, which will further contribute to the development of tourism and civil aviation sectors in each country.
