By this time, about 100 Ukrainian tourists have already applied for assistance from the National Tourism Administration.
According to Mariam Kvrivishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, the Georgian government continues to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian citizens visiting Georgia for tourism purposes. She stated that in coordination with the National Tourism Administration, the private sector almost all over the country has expressed a desire to provide the hotel rooms to Ukrainian tourists completely free of charge.
According to the Deputy Minister, the National Tourism Administration has already addressed the Ukrainian tourists in Georgia and their host private sector representatives and offered assistance through a free hotline.
