
The demand for the Georgian natural honey is increasing, and the key export market is the European Union.
In January-July, honey worth of $486 thousand was exported from Georgia, 22% more than in the same period last year.
Out of the sold honey, the largest amount of honey was exported to Bulgaria, although France is the leader in terms of the value indicator. The export price of the Georgian honey in Bulgaria is about $2.89, and $5.8 - in France.
France - 34.8 tons ($202,240)

Israel - 4.77 tons ($30 100)
The United Arab Emirates - 2.18 tons ($18,430)
Japan - 1.23 tons ($16,360)
It should be noted that in 2021, the natural honey (172 tons) worth of $652,210 was exported from Georgia, and this figure (21 tons) was only $122,550 in 2020.
