"Today, Georgia is one of the countries with the fastest growing economies in the world", said Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili during his speech at the event dedicated to the establishment of the State Security Service of Georgia.
According to Gharibashvili, this is the only peaceful period when the country did not lose territories, there was no war and no serious conflict.
"We are also developing our relationships both in the neighborhood and with all the leading major economies. It is necessary to pursue our interests. Each step taken by us serves only the interests of our country. Also, the regional and international role and importance of our country is increasing day by day. It needs to be encouraged, maintained and further strengthened. I believe that as a result of our correct, pragmatic, result-oriented policy, our country will succeed in peaceful de-occupation and unification of our country", Gharibashvili said.
