According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), in June 2023, compared to the previous month, the inflation level in Georgia was - 0.7%, while the annual inflation level was 0.6%. As for the base effect, in June 2023, compared to the corresponding period of 2022, this indicator was 4.1%.
As the GEOSTAT data showed, in June compared to the same period last year, the price of cucumbers increased the most among food products - by 50%.
In the first 5 months of this year, cucumbers were imported from a total of 4 countries. Georgia's top trading partners by cucumber import are as follows:
1. Azerbaijan - $5,480;
2. Armenia - $10,580;
3. Iran - $356,600;
4. Turkey - $3,186,670.
