"Under the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, nightclubs have been allowed to hold New Year events on 31 December and 1 January," the government's press office reports.
''After holding consultation with the sector, we have reached an agreement according to which the number of guests allowed to attend the events will be limited. The regulations will be also stiffened: fully vaccinated citizens or people having recovered from the coronavirus will be allowed to enter nightclubs. A failure to meet these criteria will result in the obligation to present valid 48-hour PCR test results.
Compliance with the regulations will be strictly supervised by the corresponding agencies,” -the statement reads.
