
The management officials of the airline Wizz Air, who are on a working visit to Georgia, held working meetings at the central office of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the United Airports of Georgia. During the meeting, the conversation touched on the project WIZZ GET LOST, which was implemented a few days ago in Kutaisi and Imereti region.
According to today's data, the content posted on the social media of bloggers and influencers who arrived in Georgia within the project exceeded 26 million views. The data are growing every day.
"Cooperation with our strategic partner Wizz Air is successful not only in terms of adding new destinations, but also implementing joint projects. A clear confirmation of this is a special charter flight performed recently in Kutaisi and Imereti region from Abu Dhabi, which brought bloggers and influencers living in the Middle East to Georgia. This will further contribute to raising the awareness of our country, specifically Imereti, and positioning it in the Middle East market, which is completely new for the Kutaisi International Airport and the entire region,” - said Tamar Archuadze, the Director of the United Airports of Georgia.
At the meeting, the conversation also touched on further deepening of cooperation with the company. Prospects for the growth of the airline's activity in the Georgian aviation market and preparations for the winter and summer seasons of 2023. Also, the technical details of the airline's temporary operation at the Tbilisi International Airport were discussed with the airline officials.
