The largest design organizations in the world - Dutch companies - Van Oord Dredging and Marine Contractors BV, Royal Haskoning DHV and CDR International BV, Spanish company SENER Group, as well as two Belgian and four Turkish companies are participating in the tender. Probably, by May 15 we will make a decision on who to order it. The construction of the island should be completed in 3.5 years after the start of construction works," - Pridon Katamadze said.
The implementation of the largest investment project in Batumi was announced in October 2021. The project envisages the creation of two artificial peninsulas and one island of ultra-modern entertainment and recreational type and the arrangement of infrastructure on them.
