
Organized by the UN Global Compact Network Georgia and the Sustainable Development Goals Council of the Government of Georgia and with the support of the Swedish government, the Partnerships 4SDGs - Localisation of the Sustainable Development Goals conference will be held on June 8-9 in Batumi, at Le Meridien Batumi hotel.
As part of the conference, on June 8, with the participation of the mayors of the municipalities of Western Georgia and the local private sector, a round table format meeting will be held, where they will talk about the localization of the sustainable development goals, challenges and opportunities.
The conference will continue on June 9 with a panel discussion, which will be opened by the Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, Batumi Mayor Archil Chikovani, and the Head of the Policy Planning and Coordination Department of the Administration of the Government of Georgia, Vakhtang Katamadze.
Representatives of the private and public sector, international and donor organizations will attend the event.
