The project is organized by the Eliso Virsaladze Center, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia and Tbilisi City Hall.
The world-famous American violinist Stella Chen - laureate of the 2023 Young Artist award of the British publication Gramophone - will be presented to the audience. The Gramophone Classical Music Awards is one of the most important awards for recordings in the field of classical music. It is often considered an American award equivalent to or even higher than the Grammys and is referred to as the Oscars of classical music. Gramophone award is considered the most influential and prestigious award in the field of classical music in the world.
The concert will also be attended by a specially arrived composer from Israel.
Stella Chen will be partnered by the Georgian State Symphony Orchestra named after Yevgeni Mikeladze, conducted by Ariel Zuckerman, the music director of the famous Israeli chamber orchestra and a long-time friend of the Telavi Music Festival.
