"The memorandum was signed by Deputy Minister Irakli Nadareishvili and Tether Operations Limited Chief Technology Officer Paolo Ardoino. According to the memorandum, the company Tether will help in the development of the blockchain infrastructure of Georgia.
According to Deputy Minister Irakli Nadareishvili, the company Tether is interested in making investments in Georgia. For this purpose, the company will create a special fund for local startups, which will help them develop blockchain technologies and position Georgia as a country with an attractive ecosystem for technological startups.
The event was attended by Avtandil Kasradze, the Chairman of Georgia's Technology and Innovations Agency.
