Alain Berset, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, recently met with Bidzina Ivanishvili, the honorary chair of the Georgian Dream (GD) party, as reported by the GD press office.

Earlier today, Berset shared on X: "I look forward to exchanging views with the Ombudsman of Georgia, Bidzina Ivanishvili, and representatives of the international community. Tomorrow, I will have meetings with the opposition and civil society throughout the day."

The Secretary General has already conducted meetings with Georgia's Public Defender, the Prime Minister, and the Speaker of the Parliament.
