Coal production in Georgia decreased by 18.5%, domestic supply - by 17%

According to the data published by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT), coal production in Georgia amounted to 11.9 thousand tons in August 2022, which is a reduced figure, as it was 14.7 thousand tons in July, and 14.6 thousand tons in the same period last year.
The volume of imports amounted to 32.3 thousand tons, while domestic supply - to 31.2 thousand tons.
