
Chinese Premier Li Qiang has officially invited Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to attend the opening ceremony of the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), scheduled to take place in Shanghai on November 5, according to a statement from the Georgian Government Administration.
In his letter, Premier Li emphasized the strong and growing partnership between China and Georgia, describing the two nations as “good friends and reliable partners.”
“Mr. Prime Minister, I look forward to participating in this important event together with you. China and Georgia are good friends and reliable partners. We respect and trust each other, and our mutually beneficial cooperation continues to strengthen. Our strategic partnership is steadily developing, and high-quality cooperation within the framework of the ‘One Belt, One Road’ initiative has already yielded fruitful results,” Li Qiang wrote.
The Chinese Premier also expressed confidence that the upcoming expo would further enhance bilateral relations and expand cooperation in multiple sectors.
“On behalf of the Chinese government, I sincerely invite you to the opening ceremony of the 8th International Import Expo. I believe this event will significantly deepen and further enrich bilateral cooperation across various fields, bringing more tangible benefits to our peoples,” the letter states.
The China International Import Expo is one of the country’s most prominent international trade events, aimed at promoting global trade and strengthening economic partnerships.
