Cheese and cottage cheese imports grow in Georgia

According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, in 8 months of 2021, 875.5 tons of cheese and cottage cheese worth $ 2.456 million were imported to Georgia against 686.2 tons worth $ 1.772 million in 2020.

Import volumes are growing compared to 2019 as well. Prior to the pandemic, Georgia bought 679 tons of cheese and cottage cheese worth $ 1.769 million.
