
Tornike Rizhvadze, the Chairman of the Government of Adjara, held an introductory meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Greece to Georgia, Maria Theodorou. At the meeting, attention focused on the possibilities of deepening economic and tourist relations between Georgia and Greece, investment policy, strengthening of partnership in cultural and educational direction.
The Chairman of the Government of Adjara thanked the Greek side for its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.
Maria Theodorou congratulated the head of the government of Adjara on his election as the vice-president of the European Maritime Regions for the second term and emphasized the recognitions achieved in the international tourist and cultural direction of Batumi.
It should be noted that in 2022, Georgia and Greece are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Khrisa Thanasa, Commercial Secretary of the Embassy, attended the introductory meeting.
