
Organized by the Ministry of Culture of Georgia and supported by the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Turkey, the Days of Georgian Culture took place in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Georgia.
The cultural festivities opened with a performance by the renowned ensemble Erisioni, who presented their captivating program Georgian Treasure - a blend of traditional song and dance. The event was held at the Beştepe Congress and Culture Center, located within the Presidential Complex of the Republic of Turkey. In addition to the performance, an exhibition of traditional Georgian clothing and jewelry was displayed in the same venue, offering guests a glimpse into Georgia’s artistic and historical craftsmanship.
The Days of Georgian Culture generated significant interest and were met with great success in Turkey.
The events were attended by several dignitaries, including Archil Kalandia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Turkey; Tata Svanidze, Head of the Department of Cultural Development and Promotion of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia; and Zurab Bakuradze, Head of the Department of International Relations.
