“I congratulate you on a glorious Christmas feast; today the heaven and earth are celebrating it and are singing hymns - Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will”, - said the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II, to the parish gathered at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
As the Patriarch said, there is a struggle between good and evil, but good will win.
A solemn service was held at the Holy Trinity Cathedral last night, before which the parishioners listened to the Christmas Epistle of the Georgian Patriarch.
The Georgian Orthodox Church celebrates Christmas on January 7.
