
Dragomir Stoynev, Vice-President of Bulgaria’s National Assembly, expressed confidence in Georgia’s leadership as the country assumed the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), with Shalva Papuashvili becoming the Assembly’s President.
Stoynev said he was pleased that Georgia’s chairmanship, together with Papuashvili, would advance priorities crucial to the region. Highlighting the importance of peace, stability, and prosperity, he noted he was honored to preside over the session and hand over the organization’s symbol to Papuashvili.
He added that Georgia’s leadership shares these core priorities and expressed confidence that cooperation and mutual support would bring greater prosperity to the peoples of the region.
