The British Secretary of State for Defense, Grant Shapps, echoed the protests against the bill On Transparency of Foreign Influence in Georgia.

According to the British Secretary of State, the proposed law threatens press and civic freedoms.

“Putin cannot help by meddle…we do condemn that influence and we do encourage people to resist that influence from Russia,” Grant Shapps told Sky News.
