British Ambassador to Georgia, Gareth Ward, has left the premises of the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs without making any statements to the media.

The Foreign Ministry has not yet released an official comment regarding the reason for the ambassador’s visit or whether he was formally summoned.

This follows the summoning of German Ambassador Peter Fischer on September 24. According to the ministry, Fischer was reminded that under the Vienna Convention, diplomatic staff must not interfere in the internal affairs of the host country.
