A body of the Georgian soldier Mikheil Kaplanishvili, who died in Ukraine, was transferred to Georgia. His family members, friends, politicians and comrades were gathered at the Tbilisi International Airport.
Mikheil Kaplanishvili was killed by the Russian occupiers’ rocket attack during an intelligence operation in Luhansk. He was hit by shrapnel and died on the spot. His body was transferred from Kharkiv Oblast to St. Volodymyr Cathedral in Kyiv, where a civil funeral was held.
The funeral of the Georgian fighter, who died in Ukraine, will be held in the Kashveti Church of St. George in Tbilisi. On Saturday, he will be buried at the Dampalo Cemetery.
