The body of Davit Menabdishvili will be transferred to the Sioni Church in Rustavi and will be buried in the Rustavi Cemetery, while the body of Nika Shanava will be taken to his home in Kvemo Orkhevi and will be buried in the ancestral cemetery.

At the Tbilisi International Airport, the family members, friends and ordinary citizens unfurled Ukrainian and Georgian flags and paid tribute to the victims. The Georgian fighters were killed in the Russian artillery fire near Izium, northeastern Ukraine.
