Reportedly, filming is taking place in Tbilisi, Telavi and Tsinandali. Master classes on wine, churchkhela [traditional Georgian candle-shaped candy], khinkali [a dumpling in Georgian cuisine] and bread baking were held in Kakheti for Bloomberg presenters. The members of the film crew visited the wineries, where they tasted wines made and stored in earthenware vessels called qvevri.
The head of the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, Maia Omiadze, introduced the historical places of Tbilisi to the representatives of Bloomberg and the presenters of Sorted Food.
"For the purpose of promoting Georgia, a campaign is underway on Bloomberg, which will last until the end of the year. The presenters of the famous British program Sorted Food are in Georgia, and they tell the audience about our country all over the world. The main product by which we present Georgia is wine, gastronomy and adventure tourism. Promotion of Georgia both in Great Britain and in the EU countries, where Bloomberg is very popular, is very important for us, because it will help attract many tourists from Europe," said Maia Omiadze.
As part of a large-scale marketing campaign, Bloomberg will publish two new articles about Georgia. An advertising campaign about Georgia is already underway on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok), which will continue until the end of the year. A large part of Bloomberg's audience consists of high-income people, the aim of the campaign is to attract high-spending tourists from different countries of the world.
